GETTING DOCS OUT OF TIGHT SPOTS: ROYDENT'S ENDO-EXTRACTOR SYSTEM IDEAL REPLACEMENT FOR I.R.S. USERS

Johnson City, TN: May 7, 2010- Roydent Dental Products announces steady sales growth for its Endo-Extractor System, most notably since discontinuance of one of its main competitors. According to recent distributor data, Endo-Extractor System's quarterly sales volume doubled from 4th Quarter 2008 through 4th Quarter 2009. One of its main extraction competitors had been Instrument Removal System (I.R.S.), which is no longer manufactured or distributed in USA as of early 2009. Since then, Roydent has been positioning Endo-Extractor System as an ideal replacement for former users of I.R.S., as well as a necessary tool for any dental office performing root canal therapy.

Roydent's Endo-Extractor provides an easy-to-use system for the rapid and controlled retrieval of silver points, separated instruments, carrier-based obturators, etc. Endo-Extractor System includes one trepan tube drill (.80mm internal diameter) and three specially designed extractors of various sizes that use chuck devices to seize and retrieve embedded articles.

A clinician may use the hollow trepan drill with extremely narrow shank to widen the root canal as necessary and/or to reduce the diameter of the embedded article. Next, the clinician selects the appropriately sized extractor, engages it against the exposed article, and manually locks its chuck upon the article with equal force all around, requiring minimal pressure.

The stainless steel Endo-Extractor System can be sterilized using standard methods such as autoclave, Chemclave, or dry heat. Extractors are color-coded per internal diameter: .30mm (white), .50mm (yellow), and .70mm (red.)

Roydent's sales and customer care teams are happy to give interested clinicians a walk-through regarding specific use and maintenance of Endo-Extractor System. Please stop by our CDA Booth #873, or contact Roydent Dental Products at 800.992.7767 for more information. Roydent distributes Endo-Extractor System in the USA through a network of qualified dealer partners. Individual components are also made available separately as replacements.

TAKE YOUR ENDO AROUND THE BEND-O: ROYDENT'S NICKEL TITANIUM 'MEMORY SHAPE' NEEDLE ALLOWS FOR SMART RETREATMENTS

Johnson City, TN, March 12, 2010- Roydent Dental Products continues to see brisk sales of the needle most recently added to its popular Micro-Apical Placement (MAP) System.

The flexible, bendable, re-usable Nickel Titanium (NiTi) 'Memory Shape' Needle was introduced in 2009 and has been a valuable addition to the MAP System line. It is available in two tip diameters (.9mm and 1.3mm) to meet most endodontic needs.

The NiTi Memory needle allows an endodontist to manually create any required curvature per canal anatomy. This manual flexibility makes the NiTi needle a smart choice for orthograde obturation into very narrow (Nº0) and challenging canals or perforations. Once properly autoclaved, the NiTi needle recovers its original form and can be reshaped for the next procedure. Made with highest Swiss quality for dental use, Roydent's NiTi needles are handy, easy-to-use, long-lasting performants that are adaptable to any MAP System.

Roydent continues to experience interest and success with the MAP System, which it introduced to the USA market in 2001. The MAP System is a site-specific delivery system using piston/needle devices that provide a unique, efficient method for placing IRM® and root canal repair materials such as ProRoot® MTA, SuperEBAT, calcium hydroxide, and amalgam. Ideal for microsurgery, the curved, hooked, straight, triple-angled, and 'memory shape' needles provide access for apical (retrograde) or coronal (orthograde) material placement.

The MAP System is available in Complete or Intro Kits that include pistons and needles with various tip diameters. Individual components are also made available separately when needed for specific applications or as replacements.

ROYDENT MAINTAINS TRIPLE GROWTH

ROYDENT'S REFORM TEMPORARY CROWN & BRIDGE MATERIAL STILL IN DEMAND

Johnson City, Tennessee - Roydent Dental Products announces continued sales growth with its REFORM Temporary Crown & Bridge Material. Between Q42006 and Q42009, REFORM's average monthly sales volume tripled, according to Roydent's internal tracking data.

Sales and Marketing Manager Nancy Connor attributes REFORM's recent success to an increased focus. "We are excited that our customers, who remain loyal, continue enjoying the benefits of REFORM," says Connor. "And broadening our customer base with new users has positively impacted our sales, as well." Exceptional results further drive REFORM's success and sales growth, which Connor says is phenomenal in such a soft economic market. "Once our customers find that REFORM is extremely user friendly, they keep coming back," she notes.

Available in three different shades, resin-based REFORM is free of methyl methacrylate. Its temperature while curing is lower than that of conventional powder/liquid systems. REFORM also shows increased transverse strength and good abrasion resistance, plus low polymerization shrinkage. Due to the direct bubble-free application via dispensing gun, there is no mixing by hand.
